Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Platform Farming, operated by Vestige Data Farm, collects, uses, stores, and protects information when users access the app, connect social accounts, generate content, schedule posts, publish content, or review analytics.
Information We Collect
Platform Farming may collect information provided by the user inside the app, including content formats, live cards, captions, scheduling records, generated asset records, product information, connected container information, publish job records, and analytics records.
Social Account Data
When a user connects a social account, Platform Farming may store account metadata such as account labels, usernames, external account IDs, platform names, connection status, granted scopes, token expiration times, and recent sync status.
OAuth Tokens and Connected Accounts
Platform Farming uses OAuth authorization to connect supported social platforms. The app does not ask users for social account passwords. OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens may be used to connect accounts, refresh account status, publish approved content, and fetch authorized platform metrics.
Generated Content and Uploaded Media
The app may process prompts, generated media assets, captions, product details, affiliate links, reference files, and publishing metadata. When AI generation is used, relevant prompts and request details may be sent to the selected AI provider.
Analytics and Performance Data
Platform Farming may ingest or store performance data for published content when authorized by the user. This data may include impressions, reach, views, plays, watch time, average watch time, retention, completion rate, clicks, profile visits, likes, comments, shares, saves, follows gained, revenue, EPC, traffic source, audience geography, device split, posting time, hashtag contribution, sound contribution, container growth, format conversion rate, and product conversion rate.
How We Use Information
Platform Farming uses information to:
- Operate connected social account workflows.
- Create, schedule, and publish user-approved content.
- Track publish jobs and publishing results.
- Display connection health and platform readiness.
- Analyze performance and improve future content decisions.
- Support debugging, account connection help, and user requests.
How Information Is Stored
During local desktop development, Platform Farming may store app state in browser or local app storage. The local backend may store social connection state in a local server-side social store file. Future hosted versions may use server-side storage for account, publishing, and analytics records.
Third-Party Services
Platform Farming may interact with third-party services selected or authorized by the user, including YouTube, Google, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, OpenAI, and other providers required for content generation, publishing, account connection, or analytics.
Data Sharing
Platform Farming does not sell user data. Data may be shared with third-party services when required to perform user-authorized actions, such as generating media, publishing content, refreshing account connections, or fetching platform analytics.
User Controls and Account Disconnection
Users control which accounts are connected and what content is scheduled or published. Users may disconnect or reset connected accounts inside the app. Users may request privacy help or deletion support by contacting the support email listed below.
Data Retention
Platform Farming retains local app data, connection records, publishing records, generated asset records, and analytics records as needed to operate the app, support user workflows, debug issues, and improve performance decisions. Users may request deletion assistance by contacting support.
Security
Platform Farming uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect app data and connected account information. No system can guarantee perfect security, and users should disconnect accounts they no longer want connected.
Children’s Privacy
Platform Farming is not intended for children under 13. The app is intended for users who are legally able to manage social accounts, authorize platform access, and publish content.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Platform Farming changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised last updated date.
